On behalf of all members of Khaosan Road Business Association, we would like to invite you all to take part in our Songkran Festival (known as Water Festival) that will be organized at Tanon Kao Sarn during 12 to 15 April, 2009. The festival will begin with religious services in accordance with Buddhist traditions, as it is the traditional Thai New Year.
This is the time for Thais to pay homage to Buddha images; to make merit; to dedicate their merit to the departed, to sprinkle water on their elders in a show of respect, Miss Song Kran International Beauty Contests. All people can join to splash water over each other in expression of celebration and fun during the hot peak of summer, starts from 07.00 a.m. onward.
