Wat Rakhang

Wat Rakhang Kosittaram Woramahavihara (Wat Rakhang) was built in the Ayutthaya period.








Somdet Phra Phutthachan (To Brahmaramsi) Wat Rakhang Khositaram Woramahawihan, Bangkok vast and complex Buddhist knowledge in easily comprehensible way to general public.  He is widely respected among Buddhists from early reign of Chakri Dynasty.  He was born on Aripl 17, 1788 (B.E. 2331) at Pichit Province and died on June 22, 1872 (B.E. 2415) at Wat Rakhang Khositaram Woramahawihan at the age of 84 years old.  His important artifiacts include many sets of small image of Buddha.
