At Ban Dan Kwian, Nakornratchasima, a cluster of the important natural source for making potteries is found there such as earth at the side of Moon River and many swamps.  Most locals have expertise in doing pottery becuase of the quality of the earth and inherit the skills from their ancestors.  There are many pottery utensils such as pots, big jars, mortar, other kitchenware, miniature animals such as owls, and hanging baskets etc.

The unique features : neat, fine and smooth surface, shiny black colour resulted from iron composite in the earth reacting with the heat.
