Initially Chao Pho Suea Shrine used to be on Bamrung Mueang Road, where Chinese communities resided. Then in the reign of King Rama V, Bamrung Mueang Road was expanded for transportation and the Shrine was moved to the present area which was the property provided by King Rama V. The joss house is in Chinese architecture decorated with Chinese paintings and tiles. Chao Pho Suea God and other Chinese Gods are housed inside and people inceasingly come to pay homage to them.
