Birth of Giant panda’s cub reported
After we had been following up Linhui’s pregnancy we found that about midnight on 27th May 2009 Linhui started licking her vagina progressively for several hours and marking at the same time. Linhui was eaten a bamboo lass than before.
In the morning about 8.00 am the keepers were going to bring Linhui into the cave to check up her health but Linhui denied. She still pay attention to lick her vagina and started to push till her vagina was expansile. So we decided not release Linhui into exhibit area and told the keeper to keeping eye on Linhui all the time. So we had found that Linhui was still push intermittently and has more frequency from 20 minute to 10 minute and she still licks her vagina at the meantime.
Until about 10.39am Linhui had change her action to bend down and she started to push again until she was delivered the baby on the floor and Linhui tried to hold her baby in the mouth to cuddle. Linhui was being a great mother even this is her first pregnancy. We believe that Linhui can raise her baby by herself. The giant panda’s cub is big, cries out loud, and has a lot of energy to squirm. We think the giant panda’s cub is healthy and that is not necessary to separate from mother.
After 3 hours from delivered the giant panda’s cub was not hungry yet. Linhui had clean and make her baby sleep. The cub move progressively and cry out but when Linhui hold in a good position the cub was go back to sleep.
Preparation to raise the giant panda’s cub. First we must know that the cub could suckle milk from mother or not if the cub couldn’t suckle milk from mother we have to separate to feed and then bring its back to Linhui. But from our observed we expect that the cub had suckled some milk from Linhui already.

Mook Island and Morakot Cave, Trang Province

Trang, or Taptiang, is another big town in the South, which is the first to grow rubber trees of which the saplings were brought in from Malaysia by Phraya Rassadanupradit Mahissarapakdi. Trang is a seaport on the Thai west coast. 1,124kms. from Bangkok on Phetchakasem Road. At present, there is a new route, from Suratthani to Trang, which makes the total distance from Bangkok 864 kms. Its area is 5,216 square kms.

Trang is a coastal province on the Indian Ocean and on a narrow piece of land, thus, there are monsoons all year round, resulting in a very high amount of rain. Only the time from February to April is without rain. The amount of rain in 1980 was as high as 2,607.6 mm. For this reason, Trang only has two seasons, summer and rainy season. The above said characteristics make Trang most suitable for agriculture, especially rubber planting.

The entrance to the cave is rather small just high enough for a boat to pass through. This winding cave is approximately 80 meters long. The entrances to the cave is on the west of the island.

Thai Puppet, Hun Lakorn Lek

Aksra Theatre

Ramayana Restuarant

Aksra Hoon Lakorn Lek
(Thai Puppet Show)
Aksra Theatre 3rd Floor King Power Complex (Duty Free)
Rang Nam Road, Victory Monument
Show Time
Thu - Fri : 19.00 hrs.
Sat - Sun : 13.00 hrs./ 19.00 hrs.
Hun Lakorn Lek, a type of traditional Thai puppetry, was developed by Kru Krae Sapthawanich on the model of the Ramayana Thai puppets originated in the court of Krom Phra Ratchawong Bovornwidchicharn. This ancient form of performing art has been in existence for many centuries and has been transmitted to the present day through the dedicated work of Kru Sakorn Youngkhiewsod, also known as "Joe Louis", and members of his family. The first public performance of Hun Lakorn Lek was given at Joe Louis Theater in 1985. HRH Princess Galayani Vadhana later renamed this theater the "Nattayasala Hun Lakorn Lek" Theater.
The major driving force behind the amazingly life like performance of Hun Lakorn Lek puppetry is the puppet artists themselves who, through their expert Khon performance skills, bring these puppets to live. Three puppet artists are required to manipulate each puppet. To give a faultless performance all three artists must be able to fuse their thoughts and mind together and perform as one person.
