The Seventieth Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne Commemorative Stamp is issued to nonor H.M. King Bhumibol Aduladej, who was respected
as the world's longest reigning monarch when His Majesty was still alive. This issue is designed
under the theme of "The Longest Reign, the Longest Stamp. Its unique feature in length of 170mm.
represents "The One King who gloriously reigned for 70 years" and breaks the world's record as
the longest stamp.
It depicts six royal portraits of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej while he was working;
together with six development centers from every region all over Thailand presenting in the
background. These centers are deemed the "Living Museum of the Nature" which demonstrates
integrated management in centralization of all relevant sectors with an aim to generate the community development. Everyone who would like to learn more about those six development
centers can also view the documentary video created by Office of the Royal Development Projects
Board via ASEAN stam application that uses AR technology developed by Faculty of Science,
Ubon Rathathani University.
